Modifications?

Hi,
I've got a pair of PMR446 handhelds and the packaging listed other systems like FRS and the LPD frequencies.
I just wondered if anyone else has one of these and knows if they can be modified to work on those channels.

The radio is a Tseun Shing.

Any info would be useful.....

Changing Band Options in WT405

I bought a "dnt WT77" Dec 2002 which obviously is a Tsuen Shing Enterprises Ltd "WT405" and identical to some others like telcom.

I can change bands between PMR, LPD, KDR and combinations of these. Also I can switch the LPD between 10mW and 500mW ("Hi/Lo").

The normal option (Germany) is PMR + LPD(at 10mW).

The key to the Menu is:
Press ON/OFF and Arrow up simultanuously until it beeps twice (!). The following menus can be interpreted easily.

Perhaps, other Tsuen Shing Products are configurable similarily.

I do not know, what frqs are "KDR". Only, they are 6 Channels, emitting at 500mW.
